Vintage Clear and Black Lucite Initial R Pin

Vintage square shaped clear and black Lucite acrylic initial ‘R’ pin, comprised of a black initial R on clear Lucite with reverse beveled edges, suspended from bevel edged, black Lucite bar. In good condition and free from clouding and crazing. The clear portion measures 1.5″ square and the black portion measures 7/8″ x 1.5″. Overall length is 2 5/8″. The gold-tone finish on the metal link that connects the two Lucite pieces has worn away and the pin back is showing some wear as well (please see photos). Circa 1940s.
